Hmm… We haven’t been writing as much as we should about tour. We’re on Day 5; it’s been awesome.
Connecticut was ridiculous. Those kids rule. We played with The Dope Girls, Mutiny Amongst Friends, Play It Faster, The Thin Heir, and of course Trunks & Tales.
It seems like some people looked up our music online before we played, because some people were singing along. And everyone wished Michelle’s dad, Michael, a happy birthday (see video below).
New Bedford, MA was alright. We went to a burrito place called “No Problemo” and then went down the street to the Green Bean, where we played to about 50 uninterested people. Whatever, we made gas money and Anthony (This is a Machine) ruled, as usual.
Our place to stay fell through so we stayed with some kids that we didn’t know. They played us comedy videos and said that they didn’t get up too late. But at 1:00 PM when we locked ourselves out with Dan’s phone still in their kitchen, they still weren’t up. Those kids were rad.
Boston was pretty cool. The Boston kids are almost as crazy as Connecticut kids, except more of them were into hardcore (pronounced “Boss-tin Hod-coa”) and less of them payed attention. We lineup was like this: Cough Cough, We Were Ghosts, Jake Jenkins, The Thin Heir, Trunks & Tales, and then we played last.
Today we’re headed up to New Hampshire. We’re looking forward to a good show.
